Lewistown lost to Rushville-Industry back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rockets 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted since August 26th.

Lewistown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 27-25, 25-19.

The win snapped Lewistown's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-9 record. As for Rushville-Industry, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10.
