Baseball Recap: Green Bay Preble Triumphs

Green Bay Preble hadn't beaten Pulaski on the road since May 16, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Hornets walked away with a 6-3 win over the Red Raiders. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 6-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on David Petasek, who went 4-for-5 with two runs and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

Petasek wasn't the only one making solid contact: Green Bay Preble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pulaski only managed four hits.

Green Bay Preble's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Pulaski, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Green Bay Preble will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Red Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
