Soccer Recap: King's Christian Starts off Right with Win over the Christian Academy

King's Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on The Christian Academy with a sharp 7-2 victory on Thursday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-0.

King's Christian's offense was hitting The Christian Academy from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Andrew Demirjian led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The Christian Academy now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Coming up, King's Christian will head out to face off against Holy Cross at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. As for The Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on MAST Community Charter at 4:00 p.m. on September 15.
