Faith Academy came tearing into Saturday's match with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the San Juan Diego Catholic Saints with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Faith Academy took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-6, 25-9.

Faith Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Claiborne led the charge by hitting 86.7% for 13 kills and ten digs and two aces. Claiborne is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 20 games she's played.

Claiborne wasn't the only good servers: Faith Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive contests.

Faith Academy's record now sits at 26-6. As for San Juan Diego Catholic, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-22.

Faith Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Central Texas Christian on the 21st. As for San Juan Diego Catholic, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against San Marcos Academy on the 21st.
