Football Recap: Hernando's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hernando couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Robinson Knights on Friday, falling 34-12. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Leopards, who until this match were averaging 11.21 points allowed.

Although Hernando took the loss, they still got scores from Annabelle Chamberlain and Aajyrah Adams.

Haidyn Spano produced another solid performance throwing for 218 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.2% of her passes for Robinson. Spano is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for five or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Hernando's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-4. As for Robinson, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.

Hernando does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Robinson, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 41-0 win against Choctawhatchee on the 10th.
