Soccer Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Christian Brothers Academy fought the good fight in their overtime match against Westhill on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. While losing is never fun, Christian Brothers Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Westhill are ranked third).

Levi Maidment and Ryan Ascenzo scored both of Christian Brothers Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Christian Brothers Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Westhill, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Brothers Academy will host Jordan-Elbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westhill, they will be playing at home against Solvay at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
