Soccer Recap: Hillcrest's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hillcrest had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Cypress Centurions by a score of 5-3. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

They hit Cypress with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julian Sandoval-Kolodoczka (2), Devin Jenkins, Isreal Villasenor, and Alejandro Rodriguez.

Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Cypress, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.

Coming up, Hillcrest will take on Channel Islands at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hillcrest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. Cypress does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
