Basketball Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Friendswood Mustangs

The West Brook Bruins will face off against the Friendswood Mustangs at 6:03 p.m. on Monday. West Brook knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Friendswood likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for West Brook against Port Arthur Memorial as the team secured a 67-39 victory. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Friendswood had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They snuck past the Pioneers with a 32-28 win.

West Brook has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Friendswood, they pushed their record up to 24-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
