Softball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

Forest fell victim to Lake and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Lake Hornets, falling 12-0. The Bearcats haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lake, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Forest will head out on the road to square off against Scott Central at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Forest has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Lake, they will welcome Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
