While Burroughs put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary. The Bears came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 4-0. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Burroughs' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Coming up, Burroughs will welcome Shadow Hills at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bears 1.9, the Knights 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
