Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vermilion Catholic). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Highland Baptist Christian Bears a 20-0 shutout on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. Highland Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
