Druid Hills had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They blew past the North Springs Spartans 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Red Devils this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-18.

Sophia Florence was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had ten assists and eight aces. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Patterson, who had 12 digs.

Druid Hills' win bumped their record up to 35-6. As for North Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-22 record this season.

Druid Hills will square off against St. Pius X Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
