Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Northeastern

Northeastern entered their tilt with South Adams on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Starfires. Eight seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Kaleb Kress, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for South Adams, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.
