Soccer Game Preview: Beddingfield vs. Tarboro

The Beddingfield Bruins will venture away from home to challenge the Tarboro Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Beddingfield will be strutting in after a win while Tarboro will be coming in after a defeat.

Beddingfield proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by four) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Ayden - Grifton 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Beddingfield sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Tarboro has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 27. They lost 8-0 to Greene Central on Wednesday. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Miguel Oviedo was handed one for Tarboro, while Greene Central got theirs courtesy of Andree Herrera.

The victory got Beddingfield back to even at 3-3. As for Tarboro, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2.

Beddingfield took their win against Tarboro in their previous matchup back in August of 2018 by a conclusive 10-2 score. Do the Bruins have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
