Basketball Game Preview: Arcadia Redskins vs. Upper Scioto Valley Rams

Arcadia is 0-4 against Upper Scioto Valley since December of 2014 but things could change on Tuesday. The Arcadia Redskins will face off against the Upper Scioto Valley Rams at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Arcadia is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-27 heartbreaker at the hands of Hopewell-Loudon.

Meanwhile, Upper Scioto Valley took a blow against Coldwater on Saturday, falling 84-44. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 166th).

Arcadia's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Upper Scioto Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Arcadia came up short against Upper Scioto Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 41-36. Can Arcadia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
