The Waverly Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Portsmouth West Senators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Waverly beat Valley 27-21.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth West won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Chillicothe 18-17. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Senators.

Mason Parker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 102 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Waverly's record is now 3-1. As for Portsmouth West, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
