Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats saw some tournament action on Friday. They snuck past the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints with a 44-39 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats.

Despite the loss, Indianapolis Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: freshman Amelia Hughes went 6 for 11 on her way to 12 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. Hughes has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last nine times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlyn Rose, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-27 victory against Herron on the 28th. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 50-20 win against Central Christian Academy on the 28th.
