Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones + How To Watch

Lincoln has gone 8-2 against Sacred Heart-Griffin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Railsplitters will challenge the Cyclones at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Sacred Heart-Griffin will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Lincoln extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Railsplitters were the clear victors by a 55-34 margin over Danville.

Lincoln can attribute much of their success to Karson Komnick, who went 9-for-12 to rack up 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Brody Tungate, who shot 54% from the field en route to 19 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Komnick's big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Breon McKinnie, who posted six points.

Sacred Heart-Griffin not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 29, 2024 (when they won 69-33). They took their contest with ease, bagging a 60-27 victory over Decatur Eisenhower. The Cyclones haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Sacred Heart-Griffin back to even at 1-1. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Lincoln strolled past Sacred Heart-Griffin in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 51-37. Do the Railsplitters have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cyclones turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
