St. Louis Park posted their closest victory since May 15, 2024 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orono Spartans, sneaking past 6-4. The Orioles haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Rowan Jansen, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Ella Tousignault was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

St. Louis Park's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Orono, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, St. Louis Park will face off against Chanhassen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orono, they will host Benilde-St. Margaret's at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
