Volleyball Recap: Concordia Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Concordia duked it out with Minneapolis on Thursday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up nine kills. Roush got some help from Bridgett Blochlinger and her eight assists.

Concordia's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Minneapolis, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Concordia has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Rossville on the 11th. As for Minneapolis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Haven on the 11th.
