Softball Recap: Soda Springs Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Soda Springs duked it out with Firth on Friday. The Cardinals came up short against the Cougars, falling 17-9. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Soda Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiyana Davis, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another was McKartie Green, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Soda Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Firth, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Soda Springs has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Declo on the 10th. As for Firth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-2 loss against Wendell on the 7th.
