Volleyball Recap: Braleigh Anhorn and Keely Cadwell Secure Win for Velva

Velva picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tioga Pirates. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Aggies.

Velva was led to victory by Keely Cadwell and Braleigh Anhorn. Cadwell had nine digs and one assist, while Anhorn had three digs.

Velva's victory bumped their record up to 14-9-1. As for Tioga, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Velva wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Trenton on the 11th. As for Tioga, after both having extra time off, they and Stanley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st.
