Basketball Recap: Escanaba Takes a Loss

Escanaba was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers, falling 73-37. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eskymos of the 74-37 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Escanaba's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Iron Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Escanaba didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-40 defeat against Forest Park on the 9th. As for Iron Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-36 win against Gwinn on the 10th.
