Football Preview: Comfort Bobcats/Deer vs. Lexington Eagles

Comfort is 0-3 against Lexington since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Bobcats/Deer will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,010 yards in their previous games.

Comfort took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-43 win over Thrall. Gabriel Gonzalez had a dynamite game, rushing for 194 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 carries. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (two). Carter Pape also helped out as he racked up 159 rushing yards.
