Soccer Game Preview: Holy Cross vs. Dunmore

Holy Cross is 1-8 against Dunmore since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Crusaders will face off against the Bucks at 6:00 p.m. Holy Cross is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

On Tuesday, Holy Cross and Mountain View finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

The Crusaders' goal came courtesy of Liza Froncek, who's now up to 23 this season.

Meanwhile, Dunmore kept a clean sheet against West Scranton on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Invaders. Dunmore haven't had any issues with West Scranton recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Holy Cross' draw makes their record 10-4-2 this season. As for Dunmore, their win bumped their record up to 6-9-1.

Holy Cross might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Dunmore in their previous matchup back in August of 2023. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
