Baseball Recap: Willow Spring Comes Up Short

Willow Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to the Jordan Falcons.

Willow Spring saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Collins, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Collins' first of the season.

Willow Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Jordan, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Coming up, Jordan will square off against Cleveland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Willow Spring will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' game: after the Falcons face off against the Rams, they'll take on Willow Spring again at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
