Volleyball Recap: Pateros Find Success

Pateros proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Curlew Cougars. This was payback for the Billygoats/Nannies, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Pateros is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Curlew, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pateros will square off against Bridgeport at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. The Billygoats/Nannies are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Curlew, they will take on Republic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
