Soccer Game Preview: Stuttgart vs. Vilonia

The Stuttgart Ricebirds will venture away from home to take on the Vilonia Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stuttgart has given up an average of 2.8 goals per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Stuttgart is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Star City just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 5-1 to the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Vilonia was forced to settle for a draw. They and Sylvan Hills finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday.

Vilonia's draw gives them a new season record of 3-5-1. As for Stuttgart, they now have a losing record of 4-5-3.
