Volleyball Recap: Copper Hills Comes Up Short

Copper Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Uintah Utes. If the Grizzlies were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Utes when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Copper Hills was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Uintah work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-13, 26-24, 15-25, 15-10.

Copper Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Uintah, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Coming up, Copper Hills will take on Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Uintah, they will take on Richfield in a tournament on Saturday.
