Baseball Recap: Catholic Central Takes a Loss

The Catholic Central Crusaders didn't have quite enough to beat the Buckeye Local Panthers on Monday and fell 6-4. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Jones was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Zach Bryan, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Buckeye Local, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.

Coming up, Catholic Central will head out on the road to take on Bellaire at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Buckeye Local, they will host Union Local at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
