Volleyball Recap: Mica Mountain Find Success

Mica Mountain won the last time they faced Maricopa and things went their way on Saturday too. The Thunderbolts walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Thunderbolts.

Sean Wiltshire paced Mica Mountain's offense, picking up eight kills. Wiltshire got some help from Caleb Cherry and his 22 assists. Reagan Howell controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mica Mountain's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Maricopa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Mica Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Salpointe Catholic on the 12th. As for Maricopa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Mountain View on the 12th.
