Softball Recap: Detroit Lakes Takes a Loss

Detroit Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Willmar Cardinals, falling 23-2.

Detroit Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Willmar, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Detroit Lakes and Willmar will both be playing Little Falls the next time they take the field. The Lakers will host the Flyers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cardinals will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
