Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Terrell County). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-40 win over the Calhoun County Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Greenwave: when they faced off against the Cougars back in December of 2024, they had to take a 38-34 loss.

Terrell County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jada Rushing out in front who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Rushing a new career-high. Ceailaja Samuel was another key player, putting up 19 points.

The win made it two in a row for Terrell County and bumps their season record up to 9-11. As for Calhoun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Terrell County has already played their next contest (against Quitman County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Calhoun County has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Randolph-Clay.
