It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tupelo Christian Prep had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They snuck past the Okolona Chieftains with a 56-50 win. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 82-56 victory the Chieftains walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2019.

Tupelo Christian Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Okolona, they dropped their record down to 12-18 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Tupelo Christian Prep will face off against Coffeeville at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Coffeeville will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Tupelo Christian Prep surely won't give up without a fight. Okolona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
