Baseball Preview: Easley Green Wave vs. Woodmont Wildcats
Easley is 7-1 against Woodmont since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Easley Green Wave will challenge the Woodmont Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Easley was able to grind out a solid victory over J.L. Mann, taking the game 8-5.

Aaron Tolbert was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Easley's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Woodmont). They blew past Travelers Rest 11-1 on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.
Woodmont is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Easley now has a winning record of 4-3.
Easley took their win against Woodmont in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 7-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Easley since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
