Kenedy and Woodsboro are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kenedy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Kenedy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 19 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Skidmore-Tynan on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 3-2.

Kenedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylie DeLeon, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Woodsboro waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They put the hurt on Pettus with a sharp 20-1 win. Woodsboro might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by eight runs or more this season.

Woodsboro's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Kenedy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11-1.
