Softball Recap: Mountain Home Takes a Loss

Mountain Home lost against Parma back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Panthers, falling 15-3. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Orie Rau made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Mountain Home suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-4. As for Parma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Mountain Home will be playing at home against Buhl at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.17 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Parma, they are taking a road trip to square off against New Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
