Basketball Recap: Success Unlimited Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Victory Christian last Tuesday, Success Unlimited Academy came back down to earth. The Success Unlimited Academy MUSTANGS were beaten by the Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors 61-29 on Friday. The contest marked the MUSTANGS's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tuscaloosa Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Anglin, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Joiner, who posted eight points and ten boards.

Success Unlimited Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

Success Unlimited Academy will challenge Eastwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, they will take on Victory Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
