Soccer Recap: Western Takes a Loss

Western's tournament run continued when they took on Purdue Polytechnic on Saturday. The Panthers took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Techies. That's two games in a row now that Western have lost by exactly two goals.

Western now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Purdue Polytechnic, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Western will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Tipton at 5:30 p.m. This will be Western's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they will take on Purdue Broad Ripple at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
