Baseball Recap: Tiverton Comes Up Short

Tiverton was the 9-4 winner over Juanita Sanchez Complex when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 7-6 on Monday.

Kyle Rogers was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-5 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was James Conley, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Tiverton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tiverton will face off against rival Mt. Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Juanita Sanchez Complex is set to challenge their familiar foe Blackstone Valley Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
