Football Recap: Albia Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Albia's offense. They took a blow against the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs on Friday, falling 54-0. The Blue Demons have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Albia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Prairie City-Monroe, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Albia will square off against rival Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Prairie City-Monroe is set to take on their familiar foe Davis County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
