Soccer Recap: Hardeeville Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Hardeeville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes, falling 11-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Hardeeville were already down 5-0.

Hardeeville has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five contests. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4-1.

Hardeeville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Windsor Forest on the 10th. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Providence Classical on the 11th.
