Soccer Recap: Cohasset Takes a Loss

Cohasset was the 3-1 winner over Rockland when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Skippers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Cohasset fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Rockland since Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Cohasset and nudges their season record down to 5-5-3. As for Rockland, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cohasset will square off against rival Mashpee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockland is set to take on their familiar foe Abington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
