Soccer Game Preview: Lake Gibson vs. Wesley Chapel

The Lake Gibson Braves are taking a road trip to challenge the Wesley Chapel Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, neither Lake Gibson nor Davenport could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Lake Gibson's goal came courtesy of Ali Simonides, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Wesley Chapel came up short against River Ridge on Friday and fell 4-2.

Wesley Chapel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-2 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. Lake Gibson's draw gives them a new season record of 6-6-2.
