Baseball Recap: Upper Arlington Comes Up Short

Upper Arlington scored first but ultimately less than Hilliard Davidson in their matchup on Tuesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-1 loss two weeks ago.

Upper Arlington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Hilliard Davidson, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Arlington will take on Olentangy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilliard Davidson, they will face off against Columbus Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
