You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Marina's strategy against Palma on Saturday. The Marina Vikings strolled past the Palma Chieftains with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Marina's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4. As for Palma, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-1.

Marina and Newport Harbor will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Newport Harbor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Marina likes a good challenge. As for Palma, they will venture away from home to square off against Stevenson at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
