Basketball Recap: Wellington School Takes a Loss

Wellington School suffered their biggest defeat since January 7th on Tuesday. They came up short against the New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen, falling 63-37. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 784th, while the Statesmen are ranked 312th).

Wellington School's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for New Hope Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 14-5.

Looking ahead, Wellington School will venture away from home to face off against Tree of Life Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Hope Christian Academy, they will welcome Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
