Baseball Recap: Sunnyside Takes a Loss

Sunnyside blew Prosser out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Prosser got their revenge. Sunnyside fell just short of Prosser by a score of 7-5. The Grizzlies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Daniel Mohr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Andrew Serl also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Prosser, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Sunnyside will challenge Chiawana at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Chiawana will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sunnyside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prosser, they will face off against Othello at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
