Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Halifax County). They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over the Chatham Cavaliers on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Logan Clark made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run and four RBI.
