Soccer Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Marietta was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Warren Warriors. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Marietta couldn't quite close it out.

Marietta's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Warren, they pushed their record up to 4-3-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Marietta has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against John Glenn on the 11th. As for Warren, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Parkersburg South on the 11th.
